goal of assisting business development in the rural communities of our area. We
operate in the northeastern region of South Dakota. Our services are available
to residents of Roberts, Grant and Day counties and communities bordering these
counties.
Whetstone Valley Business Opportunities provides assistance to entrepreneurs and
small business operators through our “Community Facilitator”. The Community
Facilitator is our representative to the public and our resource outlet to
clients. The services of the Community Facilitator are available free of charge.
The Community Facilitator can provide assistance of varied nature. The Community
Facilitator may provide personal assistance, advising, researching, and planning
with the client. The Community Facilitator may also assist through networking
the client with others in the area seeking to cooperate with business developers
such as suppliers, contractors, potential business partners, and venture
capitalists. The Community Facilitator may also guide clients to professionals
who provide paid consultation relevant to their respective business ventures,
such as lawyers, accountants, engineers, researchers, and graphic design
artists. Whetstone Valley Business Opportunities, Inc. believe the citizens of this area are capable of owning and operating businesses. If you have a product, a service or a skill that can be combined with management and marketing, we are here to help you make it a viable business. Our service is free.
